Dr. Melissa Purdue, Editorial Board Member Melissa Purdue is an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State at Mankato. Her current research focuses on representations of motherhood, interracial marriage and womens sexuality in New Woman colonial fiction. She is currently editing an edition of Rosa Campbell Praeds Fugitive Anne: A Romance of the Unexplored Bush (1902) for Valancourt Books and co-editing New Woman Writers, Authority and the Body for Cambridge Scholars Press.
